This workshop will gather different communities interested in the study of microscopic molecular properties and their evolution when molecular systems are placed in a liquid environment (often aqueous) that can be treated at the macroscopic level. Topics covered will be mainly experimental (different devices, practical and technical aspects, possible measurements, difficulties encountered) as well as theoretical (modeling of environments, simulations of molecular properties in a macroscopic environment).

The workshop will include oral presentations by invited speakers, round-table discussions, poster sessions and visits to experimental facilities at SOLEIL and ATTOLAB.

Registration is open until 30 september 2025.

The number of participant is limited.

The workshop will run from Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2pm, to Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 12:30pm.

Oral presentations and poster sessions will take place at ISMO, Bât. 520, rue André Rivière, Université Paris Saclay, 91400 Orsay.

Lunches will be provided by the workshop organization. Lunch on November 5 will be held at SOLEIL. Lunch on November 6 will be held at ISMO (either on site or with packed lunches to take away).

Evenings are free. Dinners are the responsibility of each participant. Those who wish to dine with the group of the workshop will inform us upon registration so that we can make a common booking.

Workshop participants will have the option of accommodation at SOLEIL (at the expense of each participant, €50/night).

Participants are asked to bring their own, pen, papers, etc and name tags.
